27-28 Oct 2018 Cape Town, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur to Kota Kinabalu

Flying isn't the most fun thing, certainly not to write about, so all I'll say for now is that we are in Kota Kinabalu, at a nice hotel on the 5th floor with a view of the sea. This is on the island of Borneo, in Malaysia.

We arrived about 10:30 local time and had to rush to the night market that Roy wanted to see.  I didn't like seeing all the dead seafood.

Roy tried some prawns and chicken bottoms (found then on a menu too later when we stopped for a tiger beer).



Now four hours until I need to wake up for our flight across the island tomorrow morning.

Beautiful. Tiring (four dives a day). Challenging - first dive with hooks and strong current. Lots of eating. Not so much drinking.. we aren't allowed to dive if we drink even a beer :( We get woken at 6 each morning for first breakfast and first dive.  Then second breakfast and second dive. Lunch.
