Fri 9th Mantas!!

We had a really beautiful morning dive at Batu Bolong. So many colourful fish, a turtle, large grouper and giant puffer fish. Photos will be added later.

Then we motored to Manta Point where there loads of mantas!! We had to wait our hour before second dive and Kerry was so excited to see them she jumped into the water without her mask 😂

Roy and I joined her and it was awesome swimming with them!!

We again separated into two groups, Roy and I with just Fundi. He's been great. In the pre dive brief Edward said we shouldn't go near "edges" as there are down currents there. Great. My fear here!! We were to follow our dive masters.

There was a current but not as bad as I'd expected. We saw two mantas then hooked on a rock for a while hoping some would come past. Went on and during our safety spot two came past nice and close.

While motoring back we could clearly see some of the currents from the surface. A beautiful flat sea, and then a scary looking whirl pool that would pull you down!! Freaky.
