Tues 6th Nov Tabin back to Kota Kinabalu

Our very early morning drive rewarded us with sightings of civet, a Samdar deer in the road, pigs and best of a close up of a flying squirrel who landed just next to the car. Was wonderful to see.

We had a really long drive, watching the day begin. It's so beautiful here I keep taking photos.

After catching up on some sleep, then lunch, we say goodbye to Mawi and are driven past ask the palm oil planations to the airport in Lahad Datu.

The fruit that is harvested

Our luggage was 4kg over so she said we needed to take something out. So we took out Roy's flashes, a bottle of wine and a book. So silly as we are obviously just taking it in hand luggage now. Good thing they didn't weigh that as Roy's camera bag alone is nearly 20kg!!

We slept in Kota Kinabalu. Roy bought himself a new phone but unfortunately it takes a different size SIM so he still doesn't have WhatsApp.
